CAPITAL - Clients and Professionals in Training and Learning
CAPITAL is a West Sussex wide charity run by and for people with lived experience of mental health
issues to enable them to be involved in training professionals, contributing to service improvement,
peer support, research and evaluation. Membership is free and members are offered training that is
100% peer led by experienced trainers and share mutual peer support.
Southdown Recovery Services
Southdown is one of the largest not-for-profit specialist providers of care, support and housing
services to vulnerable people in Sussex. They support over 9,500 people across Sussex each year,
and employ 950 staff. They believe everyone should have the opportunity to lead their life to the full.
The Crawley & Mid Sussex Community Wellbeing Services are for people experiencing mental health
problems between the ages of 18-65. The service offers a variety of options including one to one
Community Links, Peer Mentoring and a community programme including a choice of peer led
courses and activities both in the community and at the wellbeing hub in Crawley.
Sussex Partnership NHS Foundatino TRust
Sussex Partnership NHS Trust is 5,000 passionate and dedicated clinicians and support staff, working
hand in hand with partners in the community to care for and support vulnerable people. Together, staff
provide mental health learning disability, substance misuse and prison healthcare throughout Sussex,
along with a range of specialist services across the South East of England and beyond.
The Richmond Fellowship are a specialist provider of mental health services with a focus on providing
high quality services to the 9,000 people we support each year. They have pioneered and practised
their belief in social inclusion and recovery for more than 50 years, and are now one of the biggest
voluntary sector providers of mental health care in England.
