These sessions are designed to provide people with the confidence to continue their running in a safe and unintimidating environment. The schedule will build on the experience of running that exists within the group. This might be about taking someone who is able to run a 5k up to 10k, or from 10k to 10 miles, or it might be about running a 5k quicker. Individual goals will be discussed and agreed.
- Gain improved mental health and wellbeing through the physical activity of running
- Be able to have the confidence to run further, quicker or achieve whatever goal is set
- Feel able to go out and join local run groups or take part in organised events, eg. a 10k race or half-marathon or even a marathon (if desired!)
Weekly sessions for up to 12 weeks
Anyone who has some experience of running and would like to improve their mental health through this physical activity.
